Small business owner, Rania, came to me looking for a fresh visual brand identity for her embroidery business, Okie Stitchin’. She had several new customers and business was booming, but she didn’t feel that her DIY logo was working anymore.
Working together we came up with a solution for her branding that consisted of a needle icon that represents the embroidery aspect of her business, a barbed-wire border that represented the small town in Oklahoma where she is based, an illustrative floral element that can be found in many of her fabric designs, and hand-rendered script type for the name. We ended up with two main logos, which would be used back and forth depending on the usage.
I was able to design many printed collateral pieces that she includes in all of her orders, including business cards, care instruction cards, and a gift certificate card which all incorporate her new branding.
